We arrived for a 5-day vacation to the Mint Villa. Chrisa welcomed us and explained to us about the villa. 3 bedrooms with bathroom and shower, pool, and heated jacuzzi. A new and large villa in the center of the village. The hosts took care of us with a fruit basket, mineral water, wine, and beers. The villa is very well maintained, with a kitchen equipped with everything you need! There is also a washing machine and an iron, but we didn't use it. In addition, there is a restaurant under the villa that can be ordered directly to you. We rented a car and they took care of us parking outside and we also asked for a baby bed and it was excellent! Thank you very much for the pleasant stay!

Great location, great, traditional but renovated place. View,pool, clean, comfortable, jacuzzi location, veranda etc. I really suggest it for family or friends vacation!!

If You Arrive by Bus:

Traveling by bus is an affordable and convenient way to reach Koutouloufari.

From Heraklion International Airport (Nikos Kazantzakis) – 21 km
  • The bus stop is located just outside the arrivals hall.
  • Tickets can be purchased at kiosks or directly from the driver.
  • KTEL buses run regularly to Hersonissos.
  • The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
  • From Hersonissos, Koutouloufari is 1 km away – you can walk or take a taxi.
From Sitia Public Airport – 96 km
  • There is no direct bus to Hersonissos.
  • You need to take a bus from Sitia → Agios Nikolaos (duration: about 2 hours).
  • Then, take a bus from Agios Nikolaos → Hersonissos (duration: about 1 hour).
  • From Hersonissos, Koutouloufari is 1 km away – you can walk or take a taxi.
  • Total journey time: approximately 3.5 – 4 hours.
From Heraklion Port
  • The main bus station is within walking distance of the ferry terminal.
  • Buses run frequently to Hersonissos.
  • The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
  • From Hersonissos, you can walk or take a taxi to Koutouloufari.

If You Arrive by Taxi:

  • Taxis are available outside both the airport and the port.
  • From Heraklion Airport: Journey time is about 20-25 minutes.
  • From Sitia Airport: Journey time is about 1.5 hours.
  • From Heraklion Port: Journey time is about 25 minutes.
  • We can arrange a pre-booked taxi for a smooth and comfortable arrival (upon request).
